Isla Victoria and Bosque de Arrayanes

Sail through the glacial waters of Lake Nahuel Huapi.

All passengers can start the excursion from the centre of San Carlos de Bariloche through the transfer service, or directly in Puerto Pañuelo, 30 minutes before the departure of Cau Cau.

Minutes after embarkation, the first navigation section begins with the destination being the Quetrihue Peninsula. After 60 minutes of lakeside walk up to the forest of Arrayanes. There the passengers stay for 45 minutes and walk through the forest for an 800 meter long boardwalk. This journey culminates in the mythical cabin, which works as a teahouse. Then, tourists embark for the second time and the catamaran resumes his trip. This time towards Anchorena Bay and after another 45 minutes of navigation, the Cau Cau arrives at Puerto Anchorena on Victoria Island. Once on land, the passengers begin the tour of the island. Among the possible activities, our guides propose the historical route, which accounts for a one-hour walk duration where passengers have access to information relating to history, fauna and the flora of the place. After the stay in Isla Victoria, the group undertakes the return to Puerto Pañuelo and after 35 minutes of navigation, the final disembarkation takes place.

There, those who have presented themselves in port in a particular way finish the trip, while that the passengers who hired our transfer service, start back to the point of the city where they started the walk.

Duration: Half day.

Route: 40 kms.
